BYU basketball sent a coach a couple of weeks ago, to take a look at Jared Smoot, a big LDS hoop prospect out of Crown Point HS in Northwest Indiana.

It remains to be seen if he turns out to be a Division I prospect, but he already has an NBA wingspan.
