HP Pavilion - San Jose
We mentioned in our last newsletter, that Joe Lunardi of ESPN Bracketology, had BYU ticketed for a 4 seed in Spokane. He may still have the Cougars as a high seed, but it won't be in Spokane.
Thanks to a subscriber from Spokane, he told us that he bought tickets a while ago, thinking that BYU might have a chance to play in Spokane.
When he bought the tickets, the games were set for Thursday-Saturday.The NCAA has since changed the days and Spokane will be a Friday-Sunday venue. They are offering refunds for any that bought tickets under the Thursday-Saturday scenario.
There are only four opening round venues where BYU could be placed. They are New Orleans, Providence, R.I, Oklahoma City and San Jose. If BYU were to somehow advance to the Sweet Sixteen, they would be in either Syracuse at the Carrier Dome or Salt Lake City at Energy Solutions Arena.
