More Big Ben and Hartsock

In addition to Michael Boswell and Jeremy Olsen, whom we featured below in a previous post, Dave Rose and BYU are still interested in and monitoring Ben Aird, the 6-10, 225 pound center from Bountiful HS in Utah.

Aird was offered by Utah as a freshman, but it looks like he has it down to BYU or Stanford. He plays for the Utah Pump 'N Run AAU team. They will be in the Addidas Super 64 Tournament in Las Vegas later this month.

We are also posting some more Noah Hartsock video from his AAU play in 2005 with the Oklahoma Stars. What Hartsock has that Trent Plaisted doesn't, is a mid-range jumper. He can consistently hit it and forces opponents to come out and defend him. When they do, he can put it on the floor and go to the basket. He can also post up low on the block and has some very crafty up-and-under moves. BYU recruited a player in this kid. He will be back from his LDS mission for the 2008-09 season. He wears #34 in white.
